Executive Suite~King Bed | 5 min to DT & Whyte Ave

Overall, this suite is good value for money and located in a very lovely part of Edmonton. Positive: The location was fantastic, and the suite is well-appointed with comfortable beds, and a well-equipped kichen. The bathroom was clean and adequate. There was some noise from the homeowners, but nothing too extreme. Just footsteps which is to be expected since it is a basement suite after all. I appreciated the prompt email communication with the property managers and would recommend this space for families needing a little more space. Negative: The property management team uses a platform that requests you load your ID to a site and take a photo. In this age of identity theft, I am always wary of uploading my personal identification to websites - just my personal preference. Additionally, in order to get the door code you also need to provide a $700 damage deposit. This is held for 5-7 days following your stay and subject to a $7 processing fee. The alternative is an $84 non-refundable damage deposit. This information was included in the reservation details under "house rules" or something - I personally did not note it until the day of my stay so it caught me off guard. This is a substantial request and something future guests should take note of.

Pros: bedding was new and fresh. Location was excellent for river valley access Cons: poor quality of space. Bathroom was awful. Not clean, shower full of mildew and mold. Door stuck, required force to open making a loud noise that disrupted the whole space. Flooring was peeling up. Overall quality and care of the space was sloppy.

It’s a great place to stay. Positive: Good location, only 10-minutes drive to UA, as we came to visit our son who’s studying in UA. Rooms are clean and cozy. Beds are comfortable. The chicken is fully equipped. Negative: N/A
