Trailside Vista | Huge Patio | BBQ | AC | Downtown

The condo is nice, exactly like the pictures in the listing. We had 2 issues during our very short stay: 1. The town lost power for almost 36 hours, so we were without any electricity. The building did not have any emergency lighting in the corridors neither was any emergency lights available within the condo. There was no fire escape or exit out of the condo except navigating the pitch dark hallways. We felt extremely unsafe. 2. The sheets on one of the beds smelled of vomit. We called the VRBO customer care many many times but they did not have any solution to either problem. They were only interested in telling us that we could always leave a review. VRBO made no attempt was made to contact the condo owner to get clarity on how to reach the building manager Or offer to provide clean sheets. Expedia customer care and VRBO customer care seem to have different IT systems so VRBO couldn't locate the booking information. It was a disaster. Would not recommend this listing.

Just loved the balcony. it is huge. You can have morning coffee on the patio and view the mountains. It is a very excellent apartment with 2 beds and surprisingly 2 bath rooms. you can have a shower in one and enjoy a soak in the tub in the other.

This is a beautiful condo in Golden. Extremely clean and very pleasing decor. The bedding was so comfortable and the size of the accommodations was plenty ample for a wonderful vacation. It is very convenient to a great restaurant and a block away is a wonderful place for breakfast! Communication with our host was easy and had swift replies to our questions. If in this area in the future, would definitely stay here again!

Check-in procesure very bizarre with need to provide passport scan (understandable) and selfie? on a link that didnt al Positive: The appartment is amazing, high standards, 2 bathrooms, patio.., impeccable clean, cannot fault anything Negative: “Downtown” is a misrepresentation - not because the appartment is not close to “Downtown” but because there is no “Downtown” in Golden. It is the strangest place - mostly a freight train terminal, a large motel and flat-roofed warehouse looking buildings scattered around. Even the town church looked like a converted warehouse. Surprisingly we found a really nice and packed restaurant, and the cafe/bar downstairs in the building of the appartment was cool and busy. So if you are into freight trains and defunct warehouses, and discovery of hidden treasure in unexpected places may this is the place for you - and appartment is very nice, and close to the action (freight trains parked at end of street at back of building…). Mountain views from Golden are great and you are not top far from Yoho, which is amazing!

Outstanding home. Centrally located in downtown Golden. A welcome place to rest after a day’s worth of hiking. We would definitely stay here again.
